Vail Avenue and Campbell Street are the crossroads at the heart of the Village, where strolling, mingling and catching up with friends is easy. The lively streetscape atmosphere and the inviting pedestrian character beckon our attention again and again.
Local residents and visitors enjoy strolling on the wide public sidewalks past quaint shops and unique restaurants. Leisure time and activities held in the corner park overflow into charming brick lined streets. In the summer months the corner is closed off to create a Village square for art festivals and events. The crossroads are surrounded by buildings creating a safe valley to linger and foster good conversation. On a warm evening restaurants spill into the sidewalks to let patrons tables mingle with passerbys. Local artists morph a nearby alley into an art gathering space.
The community fosters events annually: Summer Concerts, Mane Event Block Party, Art Fairs, Marathons, Cycling races, Winter Holiday festivities.
The crossroads change and accommodate to become leisurely gathering areas in the mornings, lively connecting spaces in the evenings and at times a bustling square.
