She just could not wait for me to get that kite together. The anticipation started last night when we saw that it might be windy today, therefore a good day to hit the park with the kites her Godfather Rod got for the kids.

Ron is a student living in Edison NJ who we met while out flying kites today in Merille Park (Colonia NJ). He works part time at his fathers convenience store while he studies international business.

Say hi, I'm sure he will come to see his pic!

PS, Moe is named after Moe from the 3 Stooges ;)

This bigger than life statue of Pope John Paul II, stands in St Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. It is amazingly life like. At it's feet, people leave baskets and baskets of flowers when they visit loved ones.

Legendary radio disk jockey whose career in radio lasted for fifty years. Known affectionately to his fans as "Scottso," "The Godfather," or "The Professor," Muni was born Donald Allen Munoz in Wichita, Kansas, and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his career in radio while enlisted in the Marines, and replaced Alan Freed in Akron, Ohio, after leaving the service. He came to New York in 1959, and started on WNEW in the 1970s. While on WNEW, he became famous for his legendary stunts, such as playing poker on the air with the Grateful Dead, and greeting Elton John in a red dress. He became friendly with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, and became a personal friend of John Lennon when his daughter was born at the same hospital where Lennon's son Sean was born. After Lennon's murder in 1980, Muni would begin his shows with a Beatles song.
